How To Deal With The Pressure & Overwhelm of Creating Boundaries

When you are in a 9 to 5 job, it’s hard to set boundaries when you have a boss to report to, but at the same time it’s also hard to set boundaries when you work for yourself because you have clients depending on you. If you are constantly reacting to the world around you, then you are not being proactive and intentional. By creating a blend of work and life, you can start living intentionally with value based boundaries instead of fear based boundaries. It’s about saying yes to what you really want to d and not having to say no.


What Does Balance Look Like At Home & Work

Balance means being fully present whether at work or at home. It means being fully present for your employees when you are at work and being fully present for your family when you are at home. Being balanced is less about drawing a line and more about living a proactive life of values.

Start looking at the people you admire. Take notice of their values and how they balance work and life. Explore your current values and how you operate now and compare those to your aspirational values and how you would like to act, then take the value statement challenge!
