Depleted after Thanksgiving? I was in tears on my bed, 10pm Monday night.
So yea… holiday overwhelm had already reared it's ugly head.
Thanksgiving weekend was AWESOME.
I saw THOR, hung with my favorite people, and ate copious amounts of potatoes un-judged… what’s not to love?
But as an introvert - I. Was. Wiped. And Sad. And Exhausted.
I wanted nothing more than to step into December with an inspired, intentional, thoughtful spirit.
But I felt the exact opposite.
Luckily, I had my “Emergency Pack.”
It’s full of lovely "go-to" ways to bring me back, FAST.
Because, let’s be honest, with kiddos or a crazy schedule… ain’t nobody got time to feel crappy.
It’s when you snap at your kid (or hubs or mom) for NO good reason, you’re just on your last leg.
The little things turn into big things, and you just can’t get ahead of your to-do list.
You become overwhelmed, your energy is zapped. You slow down, stop moving, and then feel stuck.
Which shows up in frustration with yourself, or your favorite people, or the closest thing next to you {watch out Post Office}.
Don’t let that happen this December.
Set yourself up for a month of intention, love, and genuine thoughtfulness.
Be the best version of you, plan ahead for the craziness, and get yo’ self an Emergency Pack.
Each of my clients have different Emergency Packs based off what they struggle with and what brings them back FAST.
A few ideas to start with…
- A Mindset Shift {backed by science, like this for self doubt}.
- A Song that’s proven to inject endorphins like this.
- 15 Minute Tasks that are easy AF, and get the buns moving again.
Because at the end of the month you want to look back and say…
“I’m so proud of myself this season… it felt meaningful, simple, and full of genuine connection with the people I love."
xx,
Kelsey
