Wowza - it's been a wild week over here at Whiskey & Work and KelseyMurphy.com.
We opened up registration for our workshops (the kind where we talk about work and relationships over soulful conversation and champs) and the feedback has been amazing.
The topics for the workshop revolve around Intentions for 2016, building your tribe, career mapping, and knowing more about who you are and where you thrive.
Speaking up and talking to our strengths without sounding fake or Ego-crazy, is a tough one for some of us.
I watch amazing people shrink into the background, while they listen to their friends take over conversation with witty stories highlighting their strengths and passions.
Not only is talking about who we are and our strengths important for networking negotiations, and interviews...
It's good for the soul.
And you can do that too. I'll show you how (in an authentic, easy way).
Knowing where we nail it, is about being clear on how we can serve others best. It's not about puffing up your chest, it's about acknowledging your gifts.
It's less ego, more gratitude.
By doing this we create a healthy, kind, and loving internal dialogue about ourselves.
And here's one way to start.
Make a "Grateful to Thrive" list today.
Take the next 3 minutes, pull out your iPhone, journal, or Evernote and start your list. Write it down, yo.
If we stop celebrating our strengths, we will teach our brain to ignore them.
So today, let's focus on our gifts, and tomorrow night I will show you how to talk about them in an authentic, confident way.
We'll talk about Your Story. Your Heart. Your Pitch (for the bars & the boardroom).
Plus, we'll send you a beautiful, free Workbook with the class. Sign up here to get it.
Can't wait to see you.
xx, Kelsey
