Brittany Manopello is the Director of Global Sales at Glassdoor and also a life coaching client. Today we are sharing what our raw conversations are like while discussing our struggles, what it’s like to be vulnerable, and how being honest about who you are can bring you deeper relationships with others. It’s time to stop editing ourselves and sharing who we are with the world.

It’s time to find your own blend of vulnerability!

What we’re talking about

  • Sharing Your Struggles

  • Being Yourself

  • Finding Your Blend Of Vulnerability

Losing Your Filter

In today’s world, especially when working in a corporate job, we are working from our brains and intellect, but rarely allow our hearts to get involved. We filter what information we share with others and don’t share our struggles openly. Yet, if we lose that filter, or even just part of it, we could connect on a deeper, new level with others around us.

Sharing Yourself With The World

When you share your story, struggles, pain, and experiences with others, you are showing your true and honest self. By sharing who you are, the more open others will be with you since you are exposing your heart to them and being authentic and real. Brittany shares how she has found that when others are open and honest with her about who they are, she discovers an automatic trust with them and is more apt to being open about who she is with those people.

Learning To Simply Be Yourself

The only one true way to simply being yourself, is by being yourself. If you continue to try to fit into the mold of what someone thinks you should be, then you’ll never allow the world to experience your true self. It’s up to you to figure out who the authentic you is and to work at allowing that person to come out. If you’re not used to it, then it will be difficult at first, but you’ll get the hang of it!

It’s not easy to be real, but it’s worth it!
